The gang is back in American Pie 5: The Last Slice (2026), and this time, the awkward teenage antics have come full circle, as Jim (played by Jason Biggs) and Michelle (played by Alyson Hannigan) face the cringe-worthy reality of parenting their 17-year-old son, Evan. Just like Jim before him, Evan has made a pact with his friends to lose their virginity before prom. But now, itâs Jimâs turn to step into his fatherâs shoes and give Evan “the talk.” And, as expected, things are about to get hilariously uncomfortable.
The movie delivers on the familiar awkwardness, offering plenty of raunchy humor and embarrassing moments that fans of the American Pie franchise have come to love. This time, though, thereâs a twist: Jim, who once made all the teenage mistakes himself, now has to watch as his son embarks on a similar journey. Itâs a hilarious, yet emotional, exploration of what happens when youâve already made every mistake in the book and now have to guide your child through the same chaos.
Meanwhile, Stifler (played by Seann William Scott) refuses to grow upâstill the same wild, unpredictable force of nature we know and love. Now dubbed the “cool uncle” and self-appointed life coach, Stifler is determined to throw the wildest Gen Z party East Great Falls has ever seen. Of course, Stiflerâs efforts to keep up with cancel culture and TikTok trends he can barely understand lead to plenty of misadventures and comedic moments. As always, Stiflerâs antics are chaotic and over-the-top, adding the perfect amount of wild energy to the mix.

But the surprises donât end there. Stiflerâs Mom (played by Jennifer Coolidge) makes her return, bringing a massive secret that shakes up the groupâs already complicated dynamics. As the characters deal with this bombshell, their friendships are tested, and theyâre forced to confront not just the past, but the future and how it will shape the next generation. The combination of family drama, comedy, and unexpected emotional depth makes for an entertaining and surprisingly poignant narrative.
The filmâs raunchy humor is as over-the-top as ever, with the franchise’s trademark awkwardness at its core. From awkward moments to crude jokes, American Pie 5 has everything fans expect. But itâs the deeper momentsâthe ones where Jim and Michelle realize how much theyâve grown, and how their parenting will shape Evanâs own journeyâthat make this movie more than just a typical comedy. The heartwarming moments between the characters provide a nice balance to the wild antics, creating a storyline that feels fresh and genuine.
As the film builds to its hilarious and chaotic climax, itâs clear that The Last Slice is more than just a nostalgic return to the franchiseâs rootsâitâs a fun and heartfelt exploration of life, love, and family. The characters may be older, but theyâre still navigating the same ridiculous situations that defined their youth. And through all the cringeworthy moments, they learn that familyâno matter how dysfunctionalâis what keeps them grounded.

â Rating: â â â â â â A wild, laugh-out-loud, nostalgic continuation of the franchise that combines cringe-worthy moments with real family heart.
đ„ Tagline: “Some friendships last forever. Some mistakes repeat. But one thingâs for sure: itâs going to be a hell of a ride.”
